Thymol Blue Indicator is supplied by Micromaster. It is available in the form of a dark blue coloured solution which is clear without any particles. Reaction of solution is a colour change of red to yellow at pH 1.2 to 2.8 and from yellow to blue at pH 8.0 to 9.6 respectively. This product should be stored between 10-30°C in a tightly closed container.

Thymol blue is used as a pH indicator. It is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohol and dilute alkali solutions. It transitions from red to yellow at pH 1.2–2.8 and from yellow to blue at pH 8.0–9.6. It is usually a component of Universal indicator.
