Methyl orange is manufactured by Securex Lab Sciences. It changes colour based on the pH of the medium and hence, is a popular pH indicator. In titration reactions, methyl orange changes colour from pink to yellow when the solution changes from acidic to basic condition. It is also used as a stain in microscopy or histological studies.
